Our 1st ever dissecting lesson
A day we were looking 4wrd to
Finally came
U cant imagine how GROSS it was….
(Gross meter reading-- 8 out of 10) Yucks…
However, wow, it was real fun.. Haha..
Inhuman Science students, people would say…
Mutilating an innocent frog..
(Note: It turned into mutilating, not only dissecting)
Lol..
Especially our group, 1 boy 5 gals, started a frog-killing day..
(Those with weak stomachs, don’t read on, or else be prepared to vomit)
Lol.. Just imagine I was scared the day before..
Now I turned in2 a “Frog Murderer”, haha…
6 persons in a group,
Steph, Xinping, Pohpei, Eyra, Teoh & I,
all had a go at our frog,
hahahahahaha x100...
Super trilling it was..J
I took the frog out from the container,
good thing I had surgical gloves on, huhu..
O else I wouldn’t even lay a finger on the SLIMY thing..
Yucks.. Haha..

Killing it...

We covered its nose using cotton dipped in chloroform..
(for some chemis knowledge: liquid causing unconsciousness: a colourless sweet-smelling toxic liquid that rapidly changes to a vapour and causes unconsciousness if inhaled. Formula: CHCl3) )
It struggled, that was for sure..
Staring at us, wide-eyed.. Hz..
Imagine 4 persons pinning it down,
must be anguish..
Hz..
& can u believe the stupid frog actually tricked us??
As I removed my hand,
we were shocked to c that its body out of shape,
bones jutting out..
We thought we pressed it too hard till it gone out of shape..
Huu..
We released it, it ran off..
Walau, the stupid frog!!
It was only pretending!!
Hurh!!
When it went unconscious,
we pinned it on the tray.
Hz.. Its eyes were still wide open..
Hz.. Me pitied it..
So I muttered a silent prayer..

Froggie, RIP,RIP..

The skin..

Cutting it up..

Steph had the 1st go,
slicing its stomach,
Eyra sliced its muscle layer,
exposing its internal organs..
Its miniature heart still thumping away..
XinPing removed its heart,
PohPei its lungs..
Me cut its stomach out..
I was unable to pull out its intestines(left hand x flexible enuf)..
so Teoh helped..
Not long after,
its body cavity was totally empty..
Gross us wouldn’t let its reproductive organs off..
We cut it up, scanning it..
It was kinda like eating western..
The teacher said of course we cant find it as we hav smashed it!!
Lol..
Teoh was the worst..
bent on examining brains..
Yucks.. So we flipped it ovr.
Its eyes still open.
So I covered them with cotton..
Teoh began to cut its skin..
“XXX, how come its skin so tough??”
He muttered away..
Hz.. I don’t feel like narrating the rest..
IT WAS REAL GROSS~cutting eyes, removing brains..
Yucks..

Froggie eyes..

Clzmates fr other groups shook heads in disbelief upon seeing these..
Wow.. & It was finally time to clear..
We cleared up, threw the carcass away..
& that was the END of our frog-murder spree..
